Dr. Don Ketterhagen
A Legacy of Service, Entrepreneurship, and Resilience in Southwest Florida
If my face looks familiar, it’s because my history with Southwest Florida runs deep. I have called this region home since 1978. Long before I began helping homeowners navigate complex financial situations, I was a dedicated obstetrician serving the Naples community—managing the long nights and high stakes of delivering the next generation of Floridians.
A Career Built on Vision
My passion for building businesses started in medicine but quickly expanded into the local landscape. I’ve always been driven to create solutions where they are needed most. During my medical career, I founded the Collier Childbirth Center and the Collier Surgical Center, and I played a key role in developing the landmark three-story medical office building in the Commons Office Park on Goodlette-Frank Road.
Life, however, often requires its own “creative solutions.” When complications from Post-Polio Syndrome led to my retirement from medicine, I returned to my home state of Wisconsin. There, I pivoted into the world of retail and real estate, building and operating a chain of gas stations and convenience stores, while managing a portfolio of multi-family properties and personal home construction projects.
Experience Born from Reality
I don’t just understand business on paper; I understand the highs and lows of the real world. My journey has included both significant successes and personal losses. These experiences didn’t just shape my perspective—they built my drive.
Upon returning home to Florida, I continued to innovate, helping develop the Emerald Medical Center and organizing syndications within the emerging cannabis medical industry.

Today, I use that understanding to help homeowners find the “best path forward.” I am known for being patient, loyal, and persistent.
